Bill Oddie champions success of Haith's Seeds
Bill Oddie recently visited Europarc to officially launch Haith's Seeds new £3.5 million bird food production plant. The opending of the 34,000 sqft facility marked the start of a new era for the 71-year old firm.
David Haith, the third generation owner of the company was clear why he had chosen the site as their new home.
" The business had simply outgrown our old premises on Park Street. Having seen the versatility of the building on Genesis Way, we were able to plan a production layout, new offices and storage, and with the further benefits Europarc holds it was the ideal choice. Now we are actually here we can be so much more efficient and increase the capacity. It is better for distribution and the processes are all so much simpler">
The building was speculatively built by Wykeland but the floors and offices had been left out to allow for as much flexibility as possible for the final occupier. This appealed to Haith's as they could utilse Wykelands experience in delivering bespoke fit-outs and were able work with them to design a layout which was specific to their needs.
